Hi there, Yesterday and quite suddenly , every instrument that was coming through VEP started to crackle and pop – I then started getting sync error messages in Logic “sample rate 35, recognised” etc.
This only happens when playing back VEP instruments. Interestingly, I’ve noticed that the crackling and sync errors only happen if the VEP instruments have automation data on them in Logic; if you remove all of the automation data the crackling and errors stop. Very steep automation curves worsen the crackling. I’ve done all the basics like a full power cycle etc. I’ve even tried using another audio interface. The only thing that slightly remedied it was to reduce all of the VEP instruments’ buffers from 2 to 0 within Logic, as well as to decouple them.
