Pawan, sorry there is no built-in method to generate such reminders and alerts outside of Project Server or Project Online. There are add-ins available for desktop users – look for “Microsoft Project Outlook Integration.

I am thinking you are wanting to set up reminders in MS project behavior you seek is not available by default in Microsoft Project standard Here is some information you may find interesting.
